Terms of Service
Last updated: April 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EventWrist ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including event hosts, distributors, and event participants.
2. Description of Service
EventWrist is an event interaction platform that connects physical wristbands with a cloud-based backend. The Service enables event participants to interact via QR code scanning, send messages to live screens, participate in polls, and enter raffles — all without downloading an app.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
Event hosts and distributors must create an account to access the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for extended periods.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted
- Collect or harvest user data without consent
- Transmit spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited communications
5. Wristband Usage
Physical wristbands are provided by authorized distributors. Each wristband contains a unique QR code linked to the EventWrist platform. Wristbands are single-event use and may not be transferred between events without authorization from the event host or distributor.
6. Content
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service. By submitting content, you grant EventWrist a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.
6.2 Content Moderation
Event hosts are responsible for moderating participant content on their events. EventWrist reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by EventWrist and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventWrist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
